Andrew DeKelaita
Andrew has 18+ years of experience building embedded systems, real-time firmware, FPGA solutions, and signal processing platforms across defense, medical, industrial, and robotics industries. He's been the first firmware engineer on products that later achieved FDA 510(k) clearance, and he's built semiconductor manufacturing systems that have operated 24/7 for over a decade. He's developed signal processing libraries across multiple program deliveries and led distributed engineering teams. His work spans the full hardware-adjacent stack, from VHDL on FPGAs to C firmware on ARM microcontrollers and fixed-point implementations of MATLAB and Python derived algorithms.
Andrew also designed and built HDL Forever, a tool that makes it easier to navigate and modify HDL code. HDL Forever is maintained by KickToStart Consulting LLC.
